Picture of Dorian gray
The novella follows a man who remains eternally youthful while his portrait ages and reflects his moral decay. As part of class assessments, students were asked to delve deeper into the novel by writing petal paragraphs - structured focused paragraphs that explored different aspects of the characters, plot, and themes. The students then used these insights to create their own webpages interpreting the novel. This project allowed them to develop personalized understandings and perspectives on Dorian Gray's journey, rather than simply summarizing the events. It challenged them to think critically about the work and present their analyses creatively online.
